VibeCue iOS Privacy Policy

VibeCue iOS is built as a local-first teleprompter, recording and creator tool from Vibe Suite. It helps you write or import scripts, read from a teleprompter-style viewer, use Vibe! voice-following or timed playback, record video, preview recordings, edit captions and export Creator Suite videos.

Your creative work should feel like yours, not like it has wandered into a server cupboard wearing someone else’s shoes.

This Privacy Policy explains how VibeCue iOS handles scripts, recordings, captions, exports, app permissions and support requests. It applies to the VibeCue iOS app and related VibeCue iOS information provided by Vibe Suite.

VibeCue iOS is designed so your scripts, recordings, caption edits and Creator Suite exports stay on your device unless you choose to save, export, email or share them.

Vibe Suite does not upload your scripts, recordings, caption edits or Creator Suite exports to Vibe Suite servers.

This page is provided as practical privacy information for users and App Store review purposes. It should not be treated as legal advice. Vibe Suite may review and update this page as the app develops, and the wording should be checked by a qualified legal or privacy professional before final publication where appropriate.

1. Who we are

VibeCue iOS is provided by Vibe Suite and developed by Phil Shaw.

2. What VibeCue iOS does

VibeCue iOS helps creators prepare, read, record and export video content from an iPhone or iPad.

The app may allow you to:

• Write scripts.
• Import script text or supported document files.
• Read from a teleprompter-style viewer.
• Use timed playback.
• Use Vibe! voice-following.
• Record video and audio.
• Preview recordings.
• Create captioned Creator Suite exports.
• Edit captions and timings.
• Add optional logo overlays.
• Save recordings or exports to Photos.
• Share exports using the standard iOS share sheet.
• Clean or remove local app data where the app provides that option.

VibeCue iOS is not built around user accounts, cloud uploads, advertising trackers or server-side script storage.

3. Our local-first privacy position

VibeCue iOS is designed to keep your creative work on your device.

This means:

• Your scripts stay on your device unless you choose to share or export them.
• Your recordings stay on your device unless you choose to save, export or share them.
• Your caption edits stay on your device unless included in an export you choose to save or share.
• Your Creator Suite exports are generated on your device.
• Vibe Suite does not upload your scripts or recordings to its own servers.
• Vibe Suite does not store a cloud library of your VibeCue content.
• Vibe Suite does not sell your personal data.
• VibeCue iOS does not use advertising trackers.

When you choose to save, export, email or share content, the destination you choose may handle that content under its own terms and privacy policy. For example, if you save a video to Photos, your Photos and iCloud settings may apply. If you share a video to another app or service, that app or service becomes responsible for how it handles the shared content.

4. Data Vibe Suite does not collect through VibeCue iOS

Based on the current VibeCue iOS design, Vibe Suite does not collect the following through the app:

• User account details.
• Scripts you write in the app.
• Scripts or files you import.
• Raw recordings.
• Creator Suite exported videos.
• Caption edits.
• Speech transcripts.
• Analytics events.
• Advertising identifiers.
• Contact lists.
• Precise location data.
• Payment card details inside the app.

VibeCue iOS does not currently include Vibe Suite-controlled advertising SDKs, behavioural tracking tools or analytics systems.

If future versions introduce these features, Vibe Suite will update this Privacy Policy and the app’s App Store privacy details to reflect how the new version handles data.

5. Scripts and imported files

VibeCue iOS may allow you to write scripts directly in the app or import supported file types, such as TXT, PDF or RTF, depending on the features available in your version of the app.

Scripts and imported content are used so the app can display your text, run teleprompter sessions, support Vibe! voice-following and assist with caption timing or Creator Suite exports.

Scripts are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, copy, email or share them.

Vibe Suite does not upload your scripts to its own servers.

You can delete scripts inside the app where deletion controls are provided. If the app includes a Clean App or local purge tool, you can use that to remove local scripts, settings, recent history or temporary data as described in the app.

If you share a script or imported file with another app, cloud service, email provider or person, that destination is responsible for its own handling of the content.

6. Camera, microphone and recordings

VibeCue iOS may request access to your camera and microphone so you can record video and audio.

The camera is used for user-started video recording.

The microphone is used to capture audio during recording and may also be used to support voice-following features such as Vibe!.

VibeCue iOS does not begin recording unless you start a recording or session inside the app.

Recordings may be stored temporarily while you preview, edit, save, export or share them. If you choose not to save or export a recording, temporary recording data may be removed by the app or by iOS as part of normal storage and cache handling.

When you choose to save a recording or export, VibeCue iOS may use Apple Photos if you grant the relevant permission.

When you choose to share a recording or export, VibeCue iOS uses the standard iOS share sheet so you can choose the destination.

Once a recording or export is saved to Photos, it is managed through your device’s Photos library and, where enabled, your iCloud Photos settings.

Vibe Suite does not upload your recordings to Vibe Suite servers.

7. Speech recognition and Vibe!

Vibe! may use speech recognition to help VibeCue follow your spoken progress through a script. This can support voice-following, script tracking, timing assistance and caption-related features.

Speech recognition is handled through Apple’s iOS speech-recognition capabilities.

Depending on your device, iOS version, language, settings, network availability and Apple’s system behaviour, speech recognition may be processed by Apple’s services.

Vibe Suite does not receive, store or upload your speech audio or recognised speech text to Vibe Suite servers.

You can manage or revoke Microphone and Speech Recognition permissions in iOS Settings.

Important: VibeCue iOS should not be described as guaranteeing that speech recognition always happens fully on-device unless the final app specifically enforces on-device recognition and this has been tested across the devices, iOS versions and languages supported by the app.

8. Creator Suite, captions and logo overlays

VibeCue iOS may include Creator Suite tools that help you create captioned or branded videos from your recordings.

Creator Suite may allow you to:

• Generate captions from script or timing data.
• Edit caption wording.
• Adjust caption timings.
• Preview captioned videos.
• Add an optional logo overlay.
• Export a finished video.

Creator Suite exports are generated on your device.

Caption edits and export settings stay on your device unless included in a video you choose to save or share.

If you add a logo or image overlay, that image remains local unless it is included in an exported or shared video.

Vibe Suite does not upload your Creator Suite exports, caption edits or logo files to Vibe Suite servers.

Caption and voice-following tools may not always be accurate. You should review captions, timings and exported videos before publishing or sharing them.

9. Photos, Files and sharing

VibeCue iOS may use Apple’s document picker, file picker, image picker, Photos access and standard iOS share sheet depending on the action you choose.

Files or document picker access may be used when you choose to import a script or supported document.

Image picker access may be used when you choose a logo or image overlay for Creator Suite.

Photos access may be used when you choose to save recordings or exports.

The iOS share sheet may be used when you choose to share a script, recording, export or other app output.

These actions are user-started. VibeCue iOS does not automatically share your scripts or recordings with other apps or services.

Once you share content outside VibeCue iOS, the receiving app, service or person is responsible for how that content is handled.

10. Permissions used by VibeCue iOS

VibeCue iOS may request the following iOS permissions:

• Camera: used to record video when you start a recording.
• Microphone: used to capture audio during recording and to support voice-following features.
• Speech Recognition: used for Vibe! voice-following, script tracking and caption timing assistance where available.
• Photos: used to save recordings, Creator Suite exports or selected media, depending on the permission granted and the action you choose.
• Files or Document Picker: used when you choose to import scripts or supported files.
• Clipboard: if you paste script text manually, iOS clipboard behaviour may apply. VibeCue iOS should only use pasted content as part of a user-started action.

You can change app permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

11. Local storage

VibeCue iOS may store information locally on your device so the app can function properly.

Local app data may include:

• Scripts.
• Recent script history.
• Teleprompter preferences.
• Creator Suite settings.
• Caption edits.
• Temporary recording data.
• Temporary export data.
• App preferences.
• Local clean-up or recovery data.

This information is stored on your device and is not uploaded to Vibe Suite servers.

Deleting the app will remove local app data managed by iOS, subject to Apple’s normal device and backup behaviour.

Videos or exports saved to Photos must be deleted from Photos if you want to remove them from your Photos library. If iCloud Photos is enabled, deletion and retention may also depend on your iCloud settings.

12. Deleting your content

You can remove VibeCue content in several ways:

• Delete scripts inside the app where script deletion is available.
• Use the app’s Clean App or local purge tool if present.
• Delete saved recordings or exports from Photos.
• Delete shared files from any external app or service you sent them to.
• Delete VibeCue iOS from your device to remove local app data managed by iOS.

Vibe Suite cannot delete scripts, recordings or exports from your device because Vibe Suite does not store them on its own servers.

If you sent content to another app, platform, cloud service, email address or person, you will need to contact that destination or manage deletion through that service.

13. Support requests

If you contact Vibe Suite for support, you may choose to provide information such as:

• Your name.
• Your email address.
• Your device model.
• Your iOS version.
• Your VibeCue iOS app version.
• Details of the issue.
• Screenshots or screen recordings.
• Example scripts, recordings or exports if you choose to share them.

Support information is used to respond to your request, investigate issues, improve the app and maintain customer support records.

Only include information needed to explain the issue. Do not send private scripts, recordings, personal information or confidential material unless you are comfortable sharing that information with Vibe Suite for support purposes.

Support requests may be handled through Vibe Suite email, website forms or other support tools used by Vibe Suite. Those systems may process your support information so Vibe Suite can respond.

14. Purchases and Subscriptions

VibeCue iOS may offer optional paid access called Vibe Cue Pro.

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.

Vibe Suite does not receive your payment card details.

The app may check App Store purchase or entitlement status to unlock Pro features, such as longer or unlimited sessions, Creator Suite, captions, caption editing, caption timing edits, logo overlays, Preview Playback and Creator exports where available.

If Vibe Cue Pro is offered as a monthly auto-renewable subscription, subscription management, cancellation and billing are handled through your Apple Account subscriptions.

If Lifetime Pro is offered, it is a one-time non-consumable unlock and is not an auto-renewing subscription.

Free mode remains available with limits, including the 10-minute session limit.

15. Analytics, advertising and tracking

VibeCue iOS does not currently use advertising identifiers or behavioural advertising trackers.

VibeCue iOS does not currently collect analytics events for Vibe Suite.

VibeCue iOS does not currently sell personal data.

VibeCue iOS does not currently track you across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes.

If future versions introduce these features, Vibe Suite will update this Privacy Policy and the app’s App Store privacy details to reflect how the new version handles data.

16. Apple diagnostics and system services

Apple may provide iOS system features, diagnostic tools, crash information, speech recognition, Photos, Files, sharing and permission controls as part of the iOS platform.

Some Apple-controlled processing may depend on your device settings, iOS version, Apple ID settings, iCloud settings, diagnostics preferences, language and region.

Vibe Suite does not control Apple’s own privacy practices. You should review Apple’s privacy information for details about how Apple handles data through iOS and related services.

17. Children

VibeCue iOS is not directed at children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to Vibe Suite through a support request, contact us so we can review it and delete it where appropriate.

18. Security

VibeCue iOS is designed around local-first handling of creative content, iOS permission controls and user-controlled saving and sharing.

However, no app, device or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for keeping your device, passcode, Apple ID, iCloud account and shared exports secure. Be careful when saving or sharing private scripts, recordings or videos.

19. International users

VibeCue iOS may be used by people in different countries.

Because VibeCue iOS is local-first, your scripts, recordings, captions and exports are not uploaded to Vibe Suite servers by the app.

If you contact Vibe Suite for support, privacy or legal reasons, your message may be processed in the country where Vibe Suite or its service providers operate.

By contacting Vibe Suite, you understand that your request may be handled using email, website or support systems that may process information outside your own country.

20. Your choices

You can control many privacy-related settings directly on your device.

You can:

• Deny or revoke Camera permission.
• Deny or revoke Microphone permission.
• Deny or revoke Speech Recognition permission.
• Deny or limit Photos access.
• Choose whether to save recordings or exports.
• Choose whether to share content using the iOS share sheet.
• Delete scripts inside the app where available.
• Delete saved videos from Photos.
• Use Clean App or local purge tools where available.
• Delete the app from your device.

21. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Vibe Suite may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If the policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be updated.

If future versions of VibeCue iOS add new features such as accounts, analytics, subscriptions, licensing, crash reporting, cloud sync, collaboration, server uploads or other data-processing features, Vibe Suite will update this Privacy Policy and the app’s App Store privacy details to reflect how the new version handles data.
