## Description

WordPress SEO and AI Discoverability: Bringing Search, Schema and MCP Together with VibePressTools SEO used to have a fairly familiar shape. Give search engines good content, sensible page titles, clean URLs, useful metadata and a sitemap, then make sure they can actually crawl the site. None of that has gone away. The interesting part is that the audience reading a website is getting wider. Search engines still need to understand what a page is about, but structured-data systems, AI agents and other machine consumers increasingly need to understand what the things on that page actually are. A product is not just a heading followed by some paragraphs. It has an identity, properties and relationships. An organisation may appear across hundreds of pages but should still represent the same organisation. A custom field called something wonderfully WordPress-ish such as product\_short\_desc may have perfectly clear meaning to the person who built the site while meaning very little to anything encountering it from outside. This is where the Discoverability module in VibePressTools takes a slightly different route from a conventional SEO plugin. It is not designed to replace the SEO tools already doing a good job of titles, descriptions, sitemaps and everyday search optimisation. It is designed to sit alongside them and help the different machine-readable versions of a website agree with one another. Your SEO plugin does not have to do everything A modern WordPress site can have information coming from almost everywhere. WordPress itself provides posts, pages, taxonomies and metadata. Elementor adds layouts and templates. SCF or ACF may contain much of the useful structured information behind a page. WooCommerce introduces another content model, while custom code and snippets may already be publishing schema of their own. That flexibility is one of WordPress's strengths, but it also creates an unusual SEO problem: several perfectly sensible systems can describe the same site differently. VibePressTools Discoverability starts by building a Site Knowledge Map of that environment. It can inspect WordPress structures, SCF and ACF fields, supported WooCommerce structures, Elementor sources and configured code sources, then compare what it discovers with what is actually being rendered publicly. Rather than assuming that finding a piece of schema-producing code means the expected schema must be present, its Runtime Truth checks look at the public result too. That distinction is important. Search engines do not index the intentions hidden inside the WordPress admin area. They see the website you actually publish. Schema Intelligence and Schema Studio can then help identify where structured data is healthy, where different producers complement one another, where identities appear to overlap and where genuine gaps may exist. VPT is deliberately conservative about this. Existing suitable schema can be preserved, approved information can complement it, and missing coverage can be added where the evidence shows it is needed rather than simply pouring another layer of JSON-LD over everything and hoping for the best. The same website should make sense to humans, search engines and machines This is where Discoverability begins to extend beyond conventional SEO. Its Semantic Intelligence layer lets the site owner define what useful WordPress and custom-field data actually means. Those approved meanings can then feed the machine-facing representations VPT publishes, rather than every output inventing its own interpretation of the content. That can include structured Schema, clean Markdown representations, a dynamic llms.txt document and a controlled semantic REST layer. The important part is not simply producing more files and endpoints. It is that they can be generated from the same governed understanding of the site. If a product has a name, description, brand relationship and canonical identity, ideally those ideas should remain consistent whether a search engine encounters the page's Schema, a machine reads its
